ULAMEX is a wholesale supplier of aluminum tubes, pipes and bar stock, serving industrial buyers throughout Europe. All products are manufactured from established alloys — primarily EN AW-6060, EN AW-6063 and EN AW-6082 — and are available from stock in standard lengths of 3,000 and 6,000 mm with cutting to size on request.

Our tube range includes seamless and extruded round tubes (outside diameter from 6 mm to 200 mm), square tubes (from 15x15 to 120x120 mm) and rectangular tubes (from 20x10 to 120x60 mm). Bar stock covers smooth round bars (from 6 mm to 200 mm diameter), flat bars (from 10x3 to 100x10 mm), square bars (from 10x10 to 50x50 mm) and hexagonal bars. All products are manufactured according to EN 755 (extruded rod, bar and tube) and EN 754 (drawn tube).
Primary alloys include EN AW-6060 T6 (material no. 3.3206) for general-purpose tubes and bars, EN AW-6063 T6 for profiles requiring good surface quality, and EN AW-6082 T6 (material no. 3.2315) for applications demanding higher mechanical strength. What aluminum tube sizes does ULAMEX stock?
We stock round tubes from 6 mm to 200 mm outside diameter, square tubes from 15x15 to 120x120 mm, and rectangular tubes from 20x10 to 120x60 mm. Wall thicknesses range from 1.0 to 5.0 mm depending on the cross-section. All tubes are available in standard lengths of 3,000 or 6,000 mm.
What alloys are available for aluminum tubes and rods?
Standard alloys include EN AW-6060 T6 (AlMgSi0,5 — general purpose tubes and profiles), EN AW-6063 T6 (AlMg0,7Si — good surface finish, suitable for anodizing) and EN AW-6082 T6 (AlSi1MgMn — higher strength for structural and machining applications). Round bars for CNC machining are typically supplied in EN AW-6082 T6.
Can aluminum tubes be cut to specific lengths?
Yes. We offer sawing to your specified dimensions for all tubes and bars. Standard sawing tolerances apply. Please include your required dimensions when requesting a quote.
What is the difference between seamless and extruded aluminum tubes?
Extruded tubes are produced by pushing aluminum through a die and offer consistent wall thickness and a smooth internal surface. Seamless drawn tubes undergo additional cold-drawing for tighter dimensional tolerances and improved surface quality. Both types are available from ULAMEX depending on the alloy and size range.
Are aluminum round bars suitable for CNC machining?
Yes. EN AW-6082 T6 round bars offer a good combination of machinability, tensile strength (290-340 MPa) and dimensional stability, making them a preferred choice for turning, milling and CNC applications. Aluminum profiles and aluminum sheet are also available for machined components.
Does ULAMEX also supply stainless steel pipes and rods?
Yes. In addition to aluminum, we stock stainless steel pipes in grades 1.4301 (304) and 1.4404 (316L), as well as stainless steel rods and steel round and flat bars. This enables single-source procurement across multiple materials.
