What is the difference between hot-dip galvanized wire and electro-galvanized wire?
Hot-dip galvanized wire has a thicker zinc coating (typically 40-80 g/m2) providing superior long-term corrosion resistance for outdoor and buried applications. Electro-galvanized wire has a thinner, smoother coating (15-30 g/m2) suitable for indoor use. For fencing, construction and earthing applications, hot-dip galvanized wire is the recommended standard.
