Aluminum profiles and sections are fundamental components in construction, mechanical engineering, automation and solar energy applications. All profiles are manufactured from proven EN AW-6060, 6063 and 6082 alloys and are available from stock in standard lengths of 6,000 mm.

T-slot profiles are available in sizes from 20x20 to 80x80 mm and are used extensively in machine frames, workbenches, enclosures, conveyor systems and laboratory equipment. L-angles, U-channels and T-bars cover dimensional ranges suitable for both architectural and structural applications.
ULAMEX stocks aluminum profiles manufactured according to EN 755 (extruded rod, bar and tube) and EN 12020 (precision profiles). The primary alloys used for extruded profiles are EN AW-6060 T6 for standard architectural applications, EN AW-6063 T5/T6 for profiles requiring excellent surface quality and anodizing response, and EN AW-6082 T6 for structural sections subjected to higher mechanical loads. Mill test certificate 3.1 per EN 10204 is available on request — please specify when ordering.
Surface finishes include mill finish (raw), anodized (natural silver or black) and powder coated options. Profiles can be cut to your specified lengths with standard sawing tolerances. For applications requiring alternative materials, we also stock steel sections (IPE, HEB, UPN), galvanized steel profiles and stainless steel profiles. What aluminum profiles does ULAMEX stock?
ULAMEX stocks T-slot system profiles (20x20, 30x30, 40x40, 40x80, 45x45), equal and unequal angles, U-channels (C-profiles), T-bars, flat bars and gate profiles. All profiles are extruded from EN AW-6060 or EN AW-6063 alloys in standard lengths of 6,000 mm. For structural applications, EN AW-6082 profiles are also available.
What is the difference between EN AW-6060 and EN AW-6063 profiles?
Both alloys belong to the AlMgSi family and are used for extruded profiles. EN AW-6060 is slightly softer, offering good formability and adequate mechanical properties for standard architectural use. EN AW-6063 provides better surface quality after anodizing and slightly higher strength. For heavy structural loads, EN AW-6082 is recommended due to its superior tensile and yield strength.
Can aluminum profiles be cut to specific lengths?
Yes. ULAMEX offers sawing to your specified dimensions for all stocked profiles. Standard sawing tolerances apply. Please include your required lengths when requesting a quote.
What surface finishes are available for aluminum profiles?
We supply aluminum profiles in mill finish (raw), natural anodized and black anodized finishes. Powder coated options are available on request for larger quantities. Mill finish profiles can be anodized or coated by your local finishing provider.
Are aluminum profiles suitable for structural applications?
Yes. EN AW-6082 T6 profiles offer tensile strength of 290-340 MPa and are suitable for load-bearing structural components in accordance with EN 1999 (Eurocode 9). ULAMEX is certified to EN 1090 for the supply of structural metalwork components.
