Installation Guidelines

Position the cross connector at the intended junction point where two rails meet at 90°. The connector bridges the upper surfaces of both rails, clamping them together at the intersection. Insert an M10 hammer bolt into the T-slot channel of the first rail (the continuous rail) and pass it through the corresponding slot in the cross connector plate. Insert a second M10 hammer bolt into the T-slot of the perpendicular rail and through the other slot in the connector.

Before final tightening, verify the 90° angle between the rails using a square or angle gauge. The slotted bolt holes in the connector allow fine adjustment of the rail position before lock-down. Tighten both DIN 6923 M10 flange serrated nuts to 18–22 Nm. The serrated flanges grip the connector plate and prevent rotational loosening under vibration and thermal cycling loads.

For T-junctions (where a perpendicular rail terminates against a continuous rail), position the cross connector so that the continuous rail slot runs along the full plate length and the perpendicular rail slot is centred at the T-intersection. For cross (+) junctions (two rails crossing), centre the connector at the intersection point. Verify that the connector does not obstruct module clamp positions on either rail.
