1. Position the angle inside the post cavity or against the post flange, with one leg contacting the post wall and the other leg contacting the cross-rail.
2. Align the pre-drilled holes with the desired fixing point. For standard installations, the first angle should be placed 50–80 mm from the top of the post, with subsequent angles evenly spaced along the post height at each cross-rail position.
3. Drive the first screw through the post-side leg using a 5.5×25 mm self-drilling screw. This fixes the angle to the post and establishes the reference position for the cross-rail.
4. Slide or position the cross-rail against the rail-side leg of the angle.
5. Drive the second screw through the rail-side leg into the cross-rail to complete the connection.
6. Repeat for all connection points along the post height.
